2. Locate the two dual inline memory module (DIMM)
sockets.
3. For each DIMM, press the retaining clips outward to
unlock the DIMM socket (1). This action releases the
DIMM and partially lifts it out of the socket.
4. Lift out the DIMM (2).
5. Set each DIMM on an anti-static mat or place it in
an anti-static bag.
Remove RAID controller card

1. On the RAID controller card, disconnect the hard
drive cables (labeled 1-4) and the LED cable.
2. Lift the riser card assembly out of the chassis.
The RAID controller is connected to the riser card
assembly.
3. Remove the screw securing the RAID controller card
to the riser card assembly (1) and pull the controller
card from the riser card assembly (2).
4. Set the RAID controller card on an anti-static mat or
place it in an anti-static bag.

NOTE: Ensure you know the socket that
corresponds to each DIMM. Each DIMM must
be replaced in the same socket on the new
appliance.
