Only wrapped firmware files should be used when downloading
LCC firmware. This will prevent downloading the wrong firmware
to the LCC.
Download new firmware to an LCC using
HP CommandView SDM
software.

Upgrading Disk Firmware
(HP Service Personnel Only)
Caution To prevent data loss, it is recommended that a full backup be
performed before starting this procedure.
Download new firmware to a disk drive using
HP CommandView SDM
software. (See “Upgrading Disk Firmware” in the Help System.)
