Update the length of time you want to maintain Storage Mirroring Reporting Center data in the
database.
z Performance—The length of time that performance data is maintained in the database. The
default is 2 weeks.
z StatusThe length of time that server status data is maintained in the database. The default
is 1 month.
z Config—The length of time that configuration data is maintained in the database. The default
is 3 months.
3. Select the Mail tab.
z Server—Identifies the server to use as the mail server. This value is used as the default for
emailing a report through File, Mail.
z From—Identity of message sender. This value is used as the default for emailing a report
through File, Mail.
z Enable Email Alerts—Selects whether to enable automatic email alerts.
z To—Identifies email alert recipients.
z Subject—Default subject line for email alerts.
4. Select the SNMP tab.
z Enable SNMP Alerts—Select this checkbox if you want to receive SNMP traps for alerts.
z Server—If SNMP alerts are enabled, you must specify the hostname of an SNMP trap receiver.
NOTE: After the data pruning period has elapsed, data that meets the pruning criteria will be
deleted from the database.
The SQL Express database is limited to 4 GB. Setting a long pruning time may cause
the amount of data in the database to become very large or to reach the 4 GB limit.
