Repset Rule Add
Command REPSET RULE ADD
Description
Adds a rule to a replication set. A rule is the specification of a path
including volume, directories, wild cards, and/or file names.
Syntax
REPSET RULE ADD <path> [INClude|EXClude] [,
RECursive|NONRECursive] [TO <repset>]
Options
● path—Volume, directory, wild card, and/or file name
● INClude—Include the specified path in the replication set
● EXClude—Exclude the specified path in the replication set
● RECursive—All subdirectories and files of the specified path
are recursively included or excluded
● NONRECursive—No subdirectories and files of the specified
path are included or excluded
● repset—Name of the replication set
Examples
● repset rule add "c:\data" to DataFiles
● repset rule add "c:\temp" exc rec to DataFiles
Notes
● The default settings for this command are include and
recursive.
● The options include/exclude and recursive/nonrecursive can
be used in any combination and in any order. The first option
does not require a comma, but the second option does require
a comma before the option.
● If you do not specify a replication set name, the current
replication set will be used.
● Options that contain non-alphanumeric characters must be
enclosed in quotation marks.
