• The HOSTID field shows the license host IDs of the administration and MDS servers (which you will
identify during installation).
• The NOTICE field contains the license number that is printed on the License-To-Use letter sent to you
by HP when you order the license. This allows you to match increment lines with the corresponding
licenses that you have purchased.
• The SIGN field contains a checksum of all the other values in the INCREMENT line.

• SFSOSTCAP is the increment name (as described earlier).
• 100 is the limit (in terabytes) of the aggregate size of the file systems that are licensed by this
increment.
