Table 2-2 shows how the IPoIB interfaces could be configured where one network is configured for each
partition.
Table 2-3 shows how the IPoIB interfaces could be configured where a single network is shared by multiple
partitions.
NOTE: For this type of configuration, the HP SFS software supports partitioning without any special
configuration being needed on the server side (the single 0xffff Pkey is used). Note, however, that such
partitioning could not be used with earlier releases of the
HP SFS software; support for partitioning is new in
HP SFS Version 2.2.
NOTE: Consecutive numbers are assigned to the interconnect interfaces as they are created (ipoibn).
There is no requirement to use the corresponding Pkeyn for the ipoibn interface. Ordering and
numbering of Pkeys and interfaces are unrelated.
