8 Upgrading a system
This chapter describes how to upgrade the servers in an HP SFS system and the client nodes to use a new
version of the HP SFS software. The chapter is organized as follows:

• Downgrading the server software (Section 8.4)
NOTE: The upgrade instructions provided in this chapter assume that your HP SFS system software (on
servers and on client systems) is currently at HP SFS Version 2.1-1.
