b. Verify that the date on the administration server, as served by the NTP server specified earlier, is
correct.
c. Verify that the system’s administrative function is working correctly, by entering the command
shown in the following example. If the system’s administrative function is working correctly, the
parameter values will be as shown in Table 7-1:
sfs> show server south1

3. If the administration server is a ProLiant DL G4 server, skip this step.
If the administration server is a ProLiant DL G3 server, reboot the administration server by entering the
following command:
# reboot
Proceed to Section 7.9 to back up the system database.
7.9 Step 9: Backing up the system database
At this point, back up the system database by entering the following command:
sfs> create database_backup
Proceed to Section 7.10 to scan the Media Access Control (MAC) addresses.
