Example 7-7 Add IB Interface menu
Add IB Interface (ipoibN) ------------------------------------------------------
This section is used to add a new InfiniBand Interface.
Adding an InfiniBand interface is only required when the InfiniBand fabric
has been partitioned.
The Start IP is the IP assigned to the Administration server. The addresses
of the remaining servers are determined by incrementing the address of the
Administation server.
The partition key is used to associate the IB interface with an InfiniBand
fabric partition. Enter the partition key used when creating the InfiniBand
switch partition.

Once you specify the IP address of the Admin server the remaining
servers are assigned an IP address by incrementing this IP address.
Enter the Start IP (e.g. 1.2.3.4 or None) [None]: 172.32.1.2
Enter the Netmask [255.255.255.0]:
Enter the MTU [1500]:
Enter the partition key used when creating the InfiniBand switch partition.
The partiton key must be entered as a hex number e.g. 0xf1f1.
Enter the Partition Key (e.g. 0xf1f1 or None) [None]: 0xf1f1
The Add IB Interface (ipoibN) configuration is

When you have finished configuring the InfiniBand interface, the Configure InfiniBand Interconnect
menu is displayed again. To configure another InfiniBand interface, the Add IB Interface option on
the
Configure InfiniBand Interconnect menu.
When you have finished adding all of the necessary InfiniBand interfaces, enter n to exit the
Configure
InfiniBand Interconnect
menu, then enter n again to exit the Configure Quadrics
Interconnect menu and proceed to Section 7.4.3 to enter the site network information.
