NOTE: The LUN numbers that you use in the ADD LUN command are unique only within the array. They do
not correspond to the LUN numbers across the system.
Repeat these commands as necessary to present the required virtual disks to the server pair.
When you have finished presenting the LUNs to the administration server, reboot the administration server
by entering the following command on the administration server:
# shutdown -r now
Proceed to Section 6.12 to configure the system parameters.
Using the Command View EVA Web interface
To present the virtual disks using the Command View EVA web interface, perform the following steps:
1. In the Navigation pane, select the Active entry for the virtual disk you want to present to a server
pair, and then select the Presentation tab on the Content pane.
2. Click the Present button. The available host is displayed on the Present Vdisk page.
Figure 6-3 shows the Present Vdisk page.

3. Select the host and click the Present Vdisk button.
Repeat these commands as necessary to present the required virtual disks to the server pair.
When you have finished presenting the LUNs to the administration server, reboot the administration server
by entering the following command on the administration server:
# shutdown -r now
Proceed to Section 6.12 to configure the system parameters.
6.8 Step 8: Configuring the system parameters
CAUTION: Some of the system parameters cannot be changed after the system has been installed. Refer to
Chapter 7 of the HP StorageWorks Scalable File Share System User Guide for details of which parameters
can and cannot be changed.
When the server has rebooted, configure the system parameters by performing the following steps:
1. Log in to the system as follows:
login: root
password: secret
The default password secret is automatically set when the software is installed from the CD-ROM.
You will later change the password using the set password command (Section 6.9).
