New and changed features in HP SFS Version 2.31–22
To create these alias interfaces, enter sfsmgr commands and menu choices...
• sfs> configure system
• 2) Configure Networks
• 2) Configure InfiniBand Interconnect
• 3) Add IB Interface
This will display a menu such as:
NOTE: sfsmgr has no way of knowing the actual configuration of the second interface on the client. It proposes a
possible start IP address for the new alias IB interface, based on the start IP address of the base physical interface, and
its netmask. This proposal may or may not be correct. It may even be in conflict with other IP address ranges used
elsewhere in the SFS server or clients. So it must be carefully reviewed, and corrected if needed.
Even if the proposed value is actually correct, it is necessary to select the a) option, to go through every parameter and
confirm them all.
