HP StorageWorks Scalable File Share Release Notes - Version 2.3

Documentation updates and corrections 1–21
The following table shows the quota allocation observed for a particular device when testing inserts/deletes
with a block unit of 100MB:
Inserts:
Deletes:
1.8.2.3 Section 6.2.10 Verifying email alert operation
The hplsLog command is actually a shell command, not an sfsmgr command. Change the example to:
# hplsLog storage crit "Test for disk bay alert"
1.8 . 2. 4 Section 7. 9 a Addi n g InfiniBand alias interfaces
Insert this section between sections 7.9 and 7.10
For supporting clients with multiple IB rails (see section 7.11.1a.3 below), it is necessary to define alias
interfaces on each SFS server node. These additional IB alias interfaces must be configured to match the
IPoIB subnet and partition key of the additional client rails.
Example: Single IB rail on the servers, and two rails on the clients:

200 MB 2 Filled by > btune(50%) of bunit so this device now acquires 2 units
600 MB 3 Filled by > 1.5 of bunit (396 MB * 1.5 = 594)
1000 MB 4 Filled by > 2.5*blockunit (396 MB *2.5=990)
