At interconnect configuration time, the sfsmgr cli will detect all IPoIB interfaces corresponding to a connected
port (see the previous section). It also gives an option for creating new alias interfaces based on one of these
connected interfaces. For each new alias interface it will perform the following tasks:
• Automatically create an alias IPoIB interface name. For example: ib0:0.
• Prompt for the required IPoIB address information.
• Automatically create one LNET. For example: o2ib2.
The SFS management software then configures the LNET kernel module with default settings, which are not
optimal for the multiple-o2ib-LNETs-per-IB-interface case. The administrator should overwrite these LNET
settings. See section 7.11.1a of the SFS System User Guide.
