SUSE SLES 9 clients do not support directory names longer than 23 characters.
1.3.8 Cannot switch InfiniBand stacks while partioned interfaces are configured
Switching InfiniBand stacks while partitioned interfaces are configured does not work. In this case, it is
necessary to follow the following procedure:
1. Delete all InfiniBand interfaces except the first one (which cannot be deleted).
2. When switching from vib, make sure the remaining ipoib0 interface uses the default 0xffff
partition key.
3. Save the configuration and run the configure servers all command.
4. Switch the InfiniBand stack.
5. Save the configuration and run the configure servers all command.
6. Recreate extra interfaces for other InfiniBand partitions as needed.
7. Save the configuration and run the configure servers all command.
1.3.9 Issue with final confirmation question when adding a new InfiniBand
interface
When adding a new InfiniBand interface, the final confirmation question displays as follows:
Is this correct? [yes]:
You must actually type yes and press Enter to confirm the new interface. If you simply press Enter—with
the intention of choosing yes by default—the interface is created, but all IP address, mask, MTU and partition
key parameters entered are lost.
