8 Verifying System Operation

When you have completed installing the hardware, verify system operation as follows:

• Verify that the HP SFS system hardware components have the correct firmware version.

See Chapter 6 “Verifying Component Firmware”.

• Verify that an HP SFS system hardware component light-emitting diodes (LEDs) indicate

proper operation. See Chapter 7 “Hardware Component LEDs”.

• Execute the installation verification procedure. See the HP StorageWorks Scalable File Share

System User Guide.
