To determine the ProCurve Switch firmware version using the CLI, follow these steps:
1. Connect to the switch through a PC terminal emulator or Telnet session.
2. If you are using PC terminal emulation, press Enter one or more times until a prompt appears.
3. When the switch screen appears, enter the password if one has been configured:

4. At the CLI prompt enter the show system command to obtain system information, which
contains the firmware version:
