8. Turn on power to each HP SFS20 Enclosure by depressing the power button on the rear of
the enclosure (Figure 7-14 “HP SFS20 Enclosure LEDs”).
9. Turn on power to the administration server by depressing the power switch button on the
server front panel (Figure 2-2 “HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Front Panel” or Figure 2-6 “ProLiant
DL380 G4 Front Panel”).
10. Turn on power to the MDS server by depressing the power switch button on the server front
panel (Figure 2-2 “HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Front Panel” or Figure 2-6 “ProLiant DL380 G4
Front Panel”).
11. Turn on power to each Object Storage Server by depressing the power switch button on the
server front panel (Figure 2-2 “HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Front Panel”, Figure 2-6 “ProLiant
DL380 G4 Front Panel”, Figure 2-2 “HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Front Panel”, or
Figure 2-8 “ProLiant DL360 G4 Front Panel”).
12. See Chapter 6 “Verifying Component Firmware” and verify component firmware.
13. See Chapter 7 “Hardware Component LEDs” and verify that the component LED indications
are normal.
