Editing selective archiving events
The Selective Archiving Events window has a variety of configurable options:
• Enabled check box: Use to enable or disable an event. The default value is Disabled.
• SMTP Address: Select the SMTP Address check box and enter the RISS Virtual IP (VIP) used for
SMTP. The VIP is the internal RISS domain that stores documents and is the same value as the
ipToDomainInfo attribute used in Domain.jcml.
• Recipient Address: Select the Recipient Address check box and enter <user>@<riss-
domain.com>.Replace<riss-domain.com> with the name of the RISS domain that should
store the Exchange server email. The domain name must correspond exactly to the name
specified in Domain.jcml for this system. Note that more than one recipient can be specified,
by separating the addresses with commas.
• RISS Domain Name: Select the RISS Domain checkboxandenterthenameoftheinternalRISS
domain to which the email from this journal mailbox should be stored. The Domain Name must
match exactly thedomainnameattributespecifiedinDomain.jcml.
• RISS Domain ID: Select the RISS Domain ID check box and enter the domain ID that matches the
domain name specified above. The Domain ID must match exactly the domain ID attribute in
Domain.jcml.
• DocRef Host: Select the DocRef Host check box and enter the VIP of the RISS domain for which
mailbox mining is being set up. See Enabling load balancing message by message on page 124
for information on enhancing p erformance during HTTP queries.
• Use TNEF: Select the Use TNEF check box if you want to change the default value from No to
Yes. If Yes is selected, messages will be sent to the RIS S in TNEF format.
• Ensure Owner Receipt: Select the Ensure Owner Receipt check box and indicate whether a copy
of the message should be sent to the mailbox owner’s repository if the owner is not included
in the recipients list.
• Trim Attachments: Select the Trim Attachments check box if you want to change the Trim
Attachments default value from Yes to No. By default, attachments are removed from the message
and replaced with ArchiveInfo.htm, which describes how to retrieve the original attachments.
• Trim Message Body: Select the Trim Message Body check box if you want to change the Trim
Message Body default value from No to Yes. If Yes is selected, the message body is removed.
If the message body is removed from the Exchange server, you can only conduct a message
content search using the RISS Web Interface.
