Description
Local Password
The password in the RISS system for a selected user. Active D irectory users who are
imported into the system through DAS are not required to have a local password.
However, local users must have one.
First Name
First name of the selected user.
Last Name
Last name of the selected user.
Email Contact
(Required.) Email address for the selected user.
Mail To Me Addr
ess
(Required.) E mail destinat ion when t he selected user clicks Mail To Me for an
archived document.
Comments
The system administrators comments on the selected user account.
Domain
(Required.) The RISS domain to which the selected user belongs. Select the domain
from the drop-down list; the selection limits the scope of the Search and A-to-Z
filter buttons.
Mail Server
The IP addres
s of the mail ser ver for the selected user. (Optional, unless querying
within Microsoft Outlook is required .)
Billing Group ID
In pre RISS 1.5 systems, this nu mber identifies the account to be billed for services.
It is not used in RISS 1.5.
Personal Repository
The ID of the repository created for the selected user.
Direct Repo
sitories
The IDs of the repositories to which the user has access. The user automatically has
accesstohisorherownrepository.Iftheuserisamemberofagroup,heorshe
also has automatic access to the group’s primary repository.
You can give the user access to another repository by clicking Edit, selecting the
check box f
or the repository, clicking Add,andthenclickingExit.
Repositories (except for the user’s personal repository) can be removed from the list
by selecting the repository name and clicking Remove.
LDAP Information
Membership Any groups to which a remote user belongs.
WinDomai
n
The Windows domain to which a remote user belongs.
LDAP Dn
The remote user’s object name, relative location in the LDAP tree, and domain. CN
(CommonName)istheobjectname,cnisitsbranchinthetree,anddcvaluesare
domain names. DAS supplies this value.
Source
An account synchronization maintained field that indicates which DAS job was
used to create or manage the information.
Object GUID
The Glob
al Unique Identifier of the user account on the LDAP server. This is account
synchro
nization’s key to the correct account on the LDAP server.
Object SID
An identifier for the user, automatically generated and maintained by Active
Directory. (Cannot be edited.)
USNChange
The USN (Active Directory unique sequence number) imported from the
corresponding account on the LDAP server the last time account synchronization
was run.
Created Date The date the user account was created.
Last Modified The date the user account was last modified.
All Repositories All repositories to whi ch a user has access either through direct access or
through group membership.
Chec k boxes
Active/Disabled
Select or clear t his check box to enable or disable the user account on the RISS.
