Figure 49 Monitoring View window
The first area shows the status of the Launch Manager Service. This service launches the enabled events
defined in the Scheduler. From this area, you ca n start or stop the ser vice. You can also set the refresh
interval. The Launch Manager Service must be running for any event to be scheduled.
The second area provides a series of radio buttons that allow the displayed data to be filtered by different
categories:
• Active: Only scheduled events that are currently active will be displayed.
• Failed: Only events that have a failed status will be displayed.
• Complete: Only events that have a complete status will be displayed.
• Queued: Only events that have a queued status will be displayed.
• All: All events will be displayed.
The lower area displays the event data according to the selected filter type. The data for each event is
broken down into twelve different columns. Note that some columns might be irrelevant for certain event
types (for example, journal mining events will never d isplay a value in the Tombstoned column).
• Event Name: The name of the event was given when it was created in Scheduler.
• Rate: The way the processing rate is calculated is dependent on how the events are filtered. If the
events are filtered by Failed, Complete,orQueued, then the rate is an average rate calculated by
the formula (Processed + Rejected + Ignored) / Elapsed Time.
If the events a re filtered by Ac tive or All, then the rate is a current rate calculated by the formula
((Last Processed + Last Rejected + Last Ignored) – (Current Proc essed + Current Rejected + Current
Ignored)) / (Last Elapsed Time – Current Elapsed Time).
• Processed: The accumulated number of items processed by the ev ent.
• Rejected: The accumulated number of items rejected for processing by the event.
• Ignored: The accumulated number of items ignored for processing by the event.
• Submitted: The a ccumulated number if items submitted to the RISS for archiving by the event.
• Tombstoned: The accumulated number of items that were Tombstoned by the event.
• Type: The type of event that was created in Scheduler.
• Elapsed Time: The accumulated amount of time, in seconds, the event has run.
• LastRun: Thelasttimetheeventwassuccessfullycompleted.
• Log Information: The current status of the event.
• File Name: The name of the data file that the event is processing.
