Known issues
XPInfo 18.00.00 has the following known issues:
• ESX 3.5 does not display multiple paths for all LDEVs.
NOTE:
XPInfo 18.00.00 displays the same LDEVs because different entries of the ESX 3.5 native multipath
software does not detect the various paths to that LDEV.
• ESX 4.0 does not always issue I/Os on the mentioned preferred path. So, XPInfo does not display
the common LDEVs through the preferred path.
• In the following condition, where:
• XPInfo is active on AIX v5.2 or later
• MPIO is enabled on the AIX host agent
• Parameters, dyntrk is set to yes and fc_error is set to fast_fail
An error log is displayed on the console of the AIX host agent. The error log is also displayed
when you execute errpt –a from the Kernel of the AIX operating system. Following is an
excerpt of the error log:
LABEL: FSCSI_ERR10IDENTIFIER: 1FB4FD21Date/Time: Mon Aug 10
15:03:51CDT 2009Sequence Number: 269527
The above mentioned error log does not impact XPInfo activities or the output it provides.
