Ext-Lun on the Custom Groups and Array View Ldev screens and E-LDEV, Ext-LUN, E-Port(s),
E-Sequence are not updated for XP7 disk arrays.

The Dashboard Threshold setting screen does not display the array type when the XP and
P9500/XP7 disk array tables are displayed.

In XPWatch, for P9500 and XP7 disk arrays, the average LDEV I/O utilization value replicates
to other LDEVs of the same RAID group, even if there is no I/O activity on the other LDEVs.
On the Array View - LDEV screen, the Snapshot and Fast snap volumes are displayed as SMPL.
Workaround—View the PVOL and SVOL LDEV information on the Charts screen.
Fast snap volumes are referred to as snapshot for both P9500 and XP7 arrays.

After upgrading to XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1, occasionally, the array type in the generated
schedule report is displayed as XP 256.

The manual or scheduled configuration data collection fails if the configuration is issued to
the same storage array from two different systems at the same time.
You must enable Legacy DSF in HP-UX 11i v3 for HP XPWatch to function properly.
ETA—: This will be fixed in PA 6.2 release.
In HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1, if you schedule the configuration data collection and
then modify the host configuration, the schedule configuration data collection fails, and the
following message might be logged in the PA.log file:
ERROR [com.hp.xpsl.service.ConfCollHelper] Config Collection:
Scheduled Config Collection failed for array <array serial
number>java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException:
Workaround—Delete and create a new configuration data collection schedule.
HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 does not support HP Operations Agents.
ETA—: This will be fixed in PA 6.2 release.
The CPU utilization of Host Agent services is very high during a performance collection if the
number of LDEVs is more than 25000.
HP XPWatch and CLUI are not supported on an OpenVMS Integrity Server (IA-64) host.
Current Status—No ETA as of HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 release date.
Real-time charts and historical charts cannot be plotted simultaneously, as the plotting of
real-time data stops when the plotting of historical data is in progress.
In such a case, the following error message appears on the Charts screen:
The selected component may no longer be connected to the array or does not have any activity
happening currently. Please verify if the selected component is currently active. If you see that
the selected component is active, then please try recreating the device files as the device file
may not be accessible by RealTimeServer.
When historical data is plotted, ensure that the real-time data charting is not started.
