Fixes
HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 includes the following defect fixes:
• License violations messages are displayed in the dashboard, after purging data for respective
arrays.
• Improper messages displayed in the pamonitor log.
• PA Installer does not open the log at the end of an install/upgrade even whenShow the
Windows Installer Log checkbox is selected.
• The number of records displayed on the current page of the Array View - Custom Group
screen are not sorted.
• Component Information from Dashboard for RAID GROUPS that are part of pools show No
Consumers.
• References to Inband configuration collection are not cleaned up in database and in event
logs.
• In HP XP7 Performance Advisor arrayview - CA screen, if the CA journal pair is configured
with mirror id other than zero, then such pairs are not identified and displayed on the screen.
Notes
• For XP7 disk arrays, instead of journal volumes, the Journal ID node under Continuous Access
Volumes on the Charts screen displays the PAIR details, such as PVOL or SVOL associated
with the selected journal ID.
ETA: This will be fixed in the PA 6.2 release.
• In the HP XPWatch command line for XP7 disk arrays, you must mention the complete six digit
serial number, including the beginning 3.
• HP XP7 Performance Advisor does not support command device with multi-pathing for
Configuration and Performance collection.
ETA: No ETA as of HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 release date.
• Journal volumes associated with a Journal ID is intermittently not displayed in the CA Journal
Volume table of CA array view Continuous Access screen.
Current Status: No ETA as of HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 release date.
• In HP XP7 Performance Advisor, you can view the newly configured CA pairs after performing
the configuration data collection.
• Shared memory and cache memory path information is not available for XP7 disk arrays.
• LUNH and LUND command displays duplicate records for older arrays.
ETA—: This will be fixed in PA 6.2 release.
• To get the smart pool monitoring cycle in correct time zone, navigate to PA TimeZone Settings
to change the Local Machine Time.
• Raid group in CLUI displays incorrect DKA pair.
ETA—: This will be fixed in PA 6.2 release.
• The Performance Estimator does not support XP7 disk arrays.
Current Status—: No ETA as of HP XP7 Performance Advisor v6.1 release date.
• The Data Grid Update screen does not support XP7 disk arrays.
