For Windows platforms,
JRE 7 Update 51 gets installed as part of the Performance Advisor Software v 6.1 Host Agent installation.
For Non-windows platforms, the JRE needs to be installed manually before the Host Agent software installation.
The supported JRE versions can be downloaded from the below given locations for the specific platforms.
On Open VMS 8.4 , JRE v1.6.0-2.p1 gets installed as part of the OS installation

Note :
(1) On all Linux host agaent platforms respective jre versions supported [ x86 Jre for 32 Bit, x64 for 64Bit systems ].
(2) Windows Server 2012 and windows Server 2012 R2 is supported only on ESXi 5.5
Note:
(1) - Supported as guest OS in ESXi 5.5,ESXi 5.1 U1,ESXi 5.0 and ESX 4.1, ESX 4.0
(2) - Supported as guest OS in Windows 2008 R2 SP1Hyper-V
(3) - Supported as guest OS in Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V
(4) - Items mentioned in Green are newly supported
