Supported disk array types
XP, P9000 and XP7 disk arrays
Description
Displays the logical unit disk controller Snapshot data such as LUN ID, device file, emulation,
Snapshot ID, CHIP port ID, and ACP pair ID. The output of this command is sorted by the host ID.
NOTE: The port type, such as Fibre, or FCoE (applicable only for XP7 disk arrays) is also displayed
beside the CHIP port ID. The CHIP Port Status in the LUND output displays the port type.
If an array is connected to a host agent that is running the HP-UX 11i v3 operating system, the
DSF (device special file) is displayed in a new format. A legacy DSF is displayed in parenthesis
next to the new format.
For an XP24000 array with XP7 Thin Provisioning and XP7 Snapshot, the output displayed, under
RAID Group, for XP7 Thin Provisioning is THP-PID<pool ID> and the output for Snapshot is
SNAP-PID<pool ID>.
For an XP24000 array with XP7 Thin Provisioning and XP7 Snapshot under RAID Group, the
following output is displayed:
For XP7 Thin Provisioning:
THP-PID<pool ID>
For XP7 Snapshot:
SNAP-PID<pool ID>.
