When your XP Disk Array's response time is high (for example, around 3700 read I/Os with each
taking close to 10 milliseconds), use a shorter data collection cycle (around 2 minutes) in XP Per-
formance Advisor.
The Export Database reporting process may not export the Continuous Access Journal pool inform-
ation.
Do not use an apostrophe (') in the host group name, as XPWatch does not support it.
Documentation correction
Following is the documentation correction in the v4.6 release:
Determining coexistence with other storage products
At a time, only one of the following coexistence configurations is supported on a management station,
where XP Performance Advisor is installed:
HP StorageWorks XP Performance Advisor with HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced
Edition (XP Command View Advanced Edition or XP Command View AE)
OR
HP StorageWorks XP Performance Advisor with HP StorageWorks Command View EVA
NOTE:
HP does not recommend or support running XP Performance Advisor on a server where both XP
Command View AE and Command View EVA are also installed.
For optimal performance, HP recommends that you install XP Performance Advisor as a standalone
product. For more information on the supported versions, see the XP Performance Advisor streams
document available at http://h20272.www2.hp.com/Pages/spock2Html.aspx?htmlFile=
sw_array_xp.html.
