2. If the XP Performance Advisor Windows host agent has been installed, the status of the following
services are in the Started mode:
• HP XP Performance Advisor Hostagent
• HP XP Performance Advisor Realtime Server

The HP XP Performance Advisor Realtime Server appears only if you have chosen
the real-time component while installing the host agent.
If the Windows host agent service has not started automatically, manually start the host agent service:
1. Go to the Services dialog box.
2. Right-click HP XP Performance Advisor Hostagent or HP XP Performance Advisor Realtime Server.
3. Click Start in the drop down list.

A dialog box appears informing you that the host agent service is being started. The HP XP Performance
Advisor Hostagent service status changes to Started.
