Base DN in the LDAP Directory Information Tree (DIT) for all users. This is
path in the LDAP directory where all user accounts are located.
User Base DN box
The LDAP filter to be used when searching for user entries in the LDAP dir-
ectory. A default filter is supplied by XP Performance Advisor, depending
on the LDAP server type (your system administrator can change this filter as
necessary):

• (&(|(sAMAccountName={USERNAME})(cn={ USERNAME}))(object-
Class=user))
• Default filter for OpenLDAP:
• (&(|(uid={USERNAME})(cn={USERNAME}))(o bjectClass={Username}
{Username} is the placeholder, that will be replaced with the XP Per-
formance Advisor user’s name whose account should be authenticated
and authorized.
