3 Installing XP Performance Advisor

Beginning the XP Performance Advisor installation
NOTE:
This section is also applicable for the upgrade process.
To begin the XP Performance Advisor installation:
1. Log in to your management station as a user with administrative privileges.
2. Insert the XP Performance Advisor Installation disk 1 into the DVD drive. If the installation wizard
does not start automatically, run PA_Server.exe from DVD 1.
IMPORTANT:
Right-click PA_Server.exe and select Run as Administrator from the drop down
list, if you are upgrading the XP Performance Advisor on a Windows Vista management
station.
