1. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options.
2. Under the General tab, select Delete Cookies > Delete Files > Clear History.
3. Under the Privacy tab, set the vertical slider to Block all Cookies.
4. Click Apply.
5. Close IE and launch XP Performance Advisor.
Installation error messages
This section describes the error messages that you might see when installing XP Performance Advisor.
The error messages are presented in the following format:
• Error Title: Provides a brief description of the error
• Error Description: Provides the cause of the error
• Solution or Workaround: Provides the solution for resolving the error, or a workaround

JRE v6.0 Update 18 (the recommended

executable file to install or install a JRE version
of your choice within the suggested range.
The installation wizard will exit now. After
you install the JRE, double click
PA_Server.exe to resume the installation
of XP Performance Advisor.
