12 Data Grid Update
Introduction
The D ata Grid Up date screen is located in the Configuration tab in Performance Advisor XP (PA XP) as
shown in Data G rid Update screen. Use this scre en to view fabricated or incomplete records and to
modify them. Fabricated record s contain no host-to-array connectivit y data.
The Data Grid Update screen accu mulates and displays LDEVs that have unknown host connections.
It does not display LUSE components that are fabricated internally. You can m odify LUSE components
fabricated internally, using the CLUI only.
You can also use the Data Grid Update screen to delete records from the database.

Using the Data Grid Update screen
Use the Data Grid Update screen to view fabric ated or incomplete records (record s that have no
host-to-array connectivity data available) so that you can make any necessary modifications to them.
Use the Data Grid Update screen to edit the following fields:
• HOST
• LUN
• Volume Group
• Device File
• SSID
• Array Type
The following fields are checked against criteria:
