NOTE:
You have a choice to restart the configuration data collection before it has completed, if you are
collecting the data through the in band mode.
NOTE:
Performance Advisor reports only those XP Thin Provisioning and Snapshot volumes in an array that are
assigned to a pool. A Snapshot volume that is not assigned to a pool but has a path assigned from a
port, is g rouped under VVOL-Grp. For more details, see Array View.
TIP:
Components 101-16483 represent the external RAID group information, collected through the out
band mode.
Collecting performance data
If yo u select collecting performance data, you can perform the following functions:
• Create/View schedule
• Delete schedule
• Start Performance Data Collection
• Stop Performance Data Collection
The following sections describe how to perform these functions:
Creating or viewing a performance d ata collection schedule
To create or view performance collection schedule, complete the following steps:
NOTE:
Performance data collection will not occur if the con figuration data is being collected for any array.
1. Select the command device for which you want to create or view performance data collection
schedule.
2. Select Collect Performance Data in the Data Collectio n Configuration screen.
3. Select Create/View Schedule.
4. Click Submit. A new screen is displayed, as shown in Create/View Schedule.
