The XP24000 disk array has 32 CHIPs, 8 ACP pairs, and 4 MPs per port. The XP20000 has 8 CH IPs,

4ACPsand4MPsperport.

If conﬁguration data is collected through the in band mode for array c onﬁgured with external storage

volumes, the RAID group inform ation of the external storage volume is displayed as Ext-RdGp. All

volumes of the external array group is considered as a single non-existing (virtual) group, is termed as the

External Raid Group and is denoted by Ext-RdG p. Performance data is collected for all the volumes.

All virtual volumes that are not associated with any pool, do not have RAID group information, and of

unknown type, are considered as a single non-existing (virtual) volume group. This single non-existing

(virtual) volume group is denoted as VVo l-G rp in the RAID Grp column in the Grid Display screen and

Performance data is collected for all these volumes.

When conﬁguration data is collection through the in band mode on any array, other than XP24000 and

XP20000, conﬁgured with snapshot volumes associated with snapshot pools, then all snapshot volumes

and pools are collectively displayed as Snap-Grp. Performance data is collected for all these volumes.

Utilization Summary

Click the General group box on the Array View screen to display the Utilization Summar y for the array in

a separate browser window, as shown in the Utilization Summary.

Use the Utilization Summary to view a snapshot of array activity for cache usage, bus utilization, CHIP

processor utilization, and ACP pro cessor utilization. The Utilization Summar y view also lists the array’s

serial number, model, ﬁrmwa re version, and the data and time when da ta collectio n occurred. Click blue

text to view the U tilization M etric chart for that component.
