Three new disaster recovery commands:
- recoverSystemStorageDedicatedAttachConfig – rebuilds configuration on dedicated
attached arrays by examining NAS head storage configuration
- recoverSystemStorageSanConfig - rebuilds configuration on SAN attached arrays by
examining NAS head storage configuration
- recoverSystemStorageRegistryConfig - rebuilds NAS head storage configuration by
examining contents of attached arrays
Ability to repair all storage volumes on a particular storage volume group using the command
repairStorageVolumegroup
Ability to specify wildcards such as * in NFS trusted host list using the command
setNetworkNfsTrustedHostList
Support for HP Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) in SAN configurations (requires NAS Data Path
Manager)
Support for HP Virtual Array (VA) 7110 in SAN configurations
Support for Cisco Fast Ether Channel (FEC) network interface bonding (trunking)
Improved handling of bonded network interfaces
Support for faster Xeon processors
High Availability Clustering
- Improved mount/unmount load handling that is more responsive
- Prevent changes to the bond configuration on network interface cards that are being used by
the cluster
Command View NAS Web Interface
Performance Monitoring feature added, including:
- Ability to monitor CPU utilization, view total NFS activity, and HBA performance, both real-
time and historical mode (24 hour). (HBA performance requires NAS Data Path Manager.)
- Performance monitoring is configurable in the web interface.
Identity page displays World Wide Node Names
Event Summary page displays events in a pop-up box (see the entire event text more easily)
