Completing the System Configuration
After the configuration process, there are additional tasks required in order to
begin sharing files on the network. All procedures for the configuration tasks may
be found in the HP StorageWorks NAS b2000 v2 Administration Guide. These
include:
■ Changing the system date and time
■ Configuring storage using ACU and LDM
■ Establishing file shares and creating access permissions
■ Activating the iLO key (locate the Integrated Lights-Out Advanced Pack
License Installation Card and follow the enclosed instructions)
In addition to the required configuration steps above, several optional tasks may
need to be completed:
■ Enabling additional protocols and the associated file shares
■ NIC teaming
