Port log messages
This section documents all messages displayed by the portLogShow command.
The XPath OS maintains an internal port log of all port activity. Port log captures the control messages that
traverse the central processor and does not log any data traffic that gets switched at the port level. The port
log stores entries for each port as a circular buffer. Each port has space to store 2,048 log entries. Once
the log is full, the newest log entries overwrite the oldest ones. Port Logs are not persistent and are lost over
power-cycles and reboots.
