42 Performing basic maintenance
This command displays operational status and traffic statistics, for example:
Viewing fan status
1. Log in as admin.
2. Issue the fanShow command:
The possible values for fan status are:
OK: Fan is present and functioning correctly.
NOT PRESENT: Fan is not present.
FAIL: Fan is present, but faulty.
NOTE: The number of fans and valid range for RPMs varies, depending on the type of switch. For more
information, see the installation guide for your switch.
