Installing the XPath OS 7.4.0 base firmware from the recovery kernel
1. Clear the storage of old files by entering:
format all
at the recovery kernel prompt and then pressing Enter at the recovery kernel prompt.
2. After you are returned to a prompt, issue the firmwareDownload command with the necessary
parameters.
In the following example, the boot server is located at the IP address 192.168.25.100, the
FTP-access user name is user, and the file xpath_os_v7.4.0 is stored in the /tftpboot directory.
3. When prompted, enter the password for the user name you entered in the previous step.

4. After the software packages are installed, you must reboot the MP Router.
The system is rebooted from bank1 and the banks are synchronized before the system returns the login
prompt.
