Description
Zone segmentation in edge fabric can cause
an established IFL to be disabled and the
newly formed IFL to connect.
Zone segmentation in edge fabric can cause an established IFL to be
disabled and the newly formed IFL to connect.
In disabling a switch with an attached IFL, change the zone cfg and then
enable th e switch. As expected, the switch segments from the FOS fabric
due to the zone cfg conict. However, the MPR running on XPath 7.4.1
may eventually enable the IFL for the switch that was just enabled, and
disable the IFL connected to the switch that had been establish ed. The
correct behavior is to keep the established IFL up and disable the new IFL.
