Issue
Description
The configdownload
command does not restore
the previously saved
configuration.
When using the configdownload command to restore a previously saved configuration,
translate (xlate) domains may not restore properly when the xlate domains were created
manually.
To resolve this:
1. Identify the xlate domains that were created previously. This information can be
extracted from the configuration file that was uploaded earlier using the configupload
command.
NOTE:
Itisagoodpracticetokeeparecordofanyxlatedomainsthatwerecreated
manually, so they will be available when needed. This eliminates the need to search
through the configuration file.
2. Use the fcrxlateconfig command to manually recreate the xlate domains.
3. Reboot the MP Router for the n ew domain s to take effect.
Example:
fcrxlateconfig 10 20 30
Where 10 represents the edge fabric I D, 20 is Remote fabric ID and 30 is the
preferred xlate domain ID. Use the help command for more details on the
fcrxlateconfig command.
Password length is limited
to 8 characters.
For XPa th OS 7.4. x, the maximum password length is 8 characters.
