Issue
Description
FCIP tunnel may not synchronize. The fcipshow command always indicates "Time sync state:: not
synchronized".
MP Router panics, then reboots.
The FCR daemon "iswitchd" may experience a segmentation fault.
MP Router panics, then reboots.
The MP Router panics and reboots after continual access using SMI-S.
urouteshow command indicates the route
is not properly distributed for an EX_port.
Dynamic load sharing (DLS) is not functional for EX_port-to-E_port route
distribution.

Initial MP Router setup rules
When an MP Router is powered on for the rst time, by default all ports are disabled. You must explicitly
set each MP Router port to the desired port type before making any cable connections. Refer to Table 4
and Table 5 for specic port information.
NOTE:
Since it is expected that the majority of installations will use the MP Router for Fibre Channel routing,
EX_Port type will be the typical port setting.
