Fixes
Cache management Improves cache management to prevent I/O errors in the following
situations:
During a LUN failover while the MSA controller is performing RAID migration or expansion
under a heavy load
Preventing persistent host I/Os from bypassing cache when cache is dirty on powerup
Preventing I/O timeouts in cases where many implicit failover events occur within a short
period of time
Default profile With version 7.00 of the firmware, the default profile loads the correct host
mode settings after upgrading from an earlier release of firmware. This was not the case when
upgrading to version 6.86 from an earlier version; in this situation, the default profile m ight
not have loaded the correct host mode settings when assigned to a host connection. Any host
connectionthatwasleftsetto“Default”andnotsettothecorrecthostmodeprofile,suchas
Windows or Linux, would fail to load support software, such as the ACU, event notification
driver, or multi-path software.
