e. Type y to stop the Agent.
f. At the main menu, type q to quit.
g. At the stgwks.sh menu, type q to exit and return to the command prompt.
3. Export any volume groups associated with disks on the HSG80 Raid Array by entering
the
exportvg command.
4. Delete all references to the adapters and hdisks associated with the Cambex driver by
performing the following actions:
a. Find all Cambex adapters on your system by entering the command
lsdev -Cc adapter
| grep Cambex
b. Enter the following command for each adapter: rmdev -Rdl scsiX
5. Uninstall your Q2100 driver by entering the following command:
installp -u Q2100.driver.obj
6. Enter the command: bosboot -ad /dev/ipldevice.
7. Install the new driver by entering the following command
installp -acd /<cdrom directory>/fcdriver/PC1000.image all
8. Enter the command: bosboot -ad /dev/ipldevice.
Now that the new driver is installed, go to the next part of the upgrade:
Upgrading the Storageworks Software and Agent.
Upgrading the Storageworks Software and Agent
IMPORTANT: Upgrade both the ODM entries and your agent. If you only upgrade one or the
other, it may be difficult to uninstall the agent or ODM entries.
To upgrade the the ODM entries and the SWCC agent perform the following procedure:
1. Go to the directory where you have your CD-ROM mounted
2. Enter the command
./INSTALL.
The first section of the script indicates that you already have a Cambex driver installed and
then asks if you want to continue. If you are not running V1.5.11.1 of the Cambex driver,
you need to upgrade your driver. Refer to the Examining and Upgrading Your Driver
section for instructions and then rerun this script
