Installing and Configuring the HS-Series Agent 4–19
Check the index for the HACMP Enabler bits for your subsystem type. Install Enabler on
each node in the cluster using System Management Interface Tool (SMIT) or the installp
command line process. The enabler software provides HSG80 concurrency on HACMP
clusters of S70 and SP machines using the StorageWorks Fibre Channel Adapter,
DS-SWIA1-PC and DS-SWIA1-PD.
General Note on Software Installation
In the HACMP environment, install all Solution Software on each node in the cluster.
Follow the instructions in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. Use the CD-ROM kit to install the
StorageWorks Software and Agent on all nodes.
To clarify, from the stgwks_aix.sh menu, any installation, upgrade, configuration or
removal of the StorageWorks Software including ODM files, Agent Software and Agent
configuration must be done on each node in the cluster. HACMP users have a slightly
different configuration menu that allows for local agent control.
