File System Creation
Before the new LUN can be used by the system, a new filesystem must be created on each
partition that will be mounted. The
mkfs command is used to create filesystems. For more
information, refer to the man pages for the
mkfs commands.
■ To create a new filesystem, use the following command:
# mkfs /dev/sdk2
