Syntax in-path neighbor <port>
Parameters
Example
minna (config) # in-path neighbor port 7850
minna (config) #
in-path oop enable
Description Enable in-path support for Layer-4 switches, Policy Based Routing (PBR), and Web
Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP). The no command option disables support
for Layer-4 switches, PBR, and WCCP.

in-path peering rule
Description Configures in-path peering rules for serial cluster or cascading deployments. Peering
rules are specified so that when the HP EFS WAN Accelerator receives an auto-
discovery probe it is passed through, accepted, or processed normally based on the
sender of the probe, the client IP address and subnet, the server IP address and subnet,
or the server port. The no command option disables the peering rule.
You can provide increased optimization capacity by deploying several HP EFS WAN
Accelerators back-to-back in an in-path configuration and create a serial cluster. In a
serial cluster, HP EFS WAN Accelerators are configured so that they do not answer
auto-discovery probes from an HP EFS WAN Accelerator in the same cluster and they
do not intercept the inner connection created by other HP EFS WAN Accelerators in
the cluster.
In a serial cluster, when an HP EFS WAN Accelerator reaches its capacity limit, it stops
intercepting new connections and passes them to the next HP EFS WAN Accelerator.
This process continues until there are no more HP EFS WAN Accelerators available in
the cluster.
In serial cluster or cascade deployments:
A cluster can be created on either the client side or on the server side.
The peering rules table is a ordered list of rules and the first rule that matches the
rule is applied.
In the case of a cascade cluster, only pass-through peering rules are used.
<port> Specifies the neighbor HP EFS WAN Accelerator port. The
default value is 7850.
