Example To download a firmware file:

Errors The following can cause the download to fail:

• The host name is not known to the switch

• The host IP address cannot be contacted

• The user does not have permission on the host

• The user runs a script that prints something at login

• The path to the firmware may be case sensitive

• The file does not exist on the host

• The file is not a switch firmware file

• The file is corrupted

• The RSHD or FTP server is not running on the host
