Display firmware version information.

Synopsis version

Description Use this command to display firmware version information and build dates.

The following is displayed:

Kernel: Version of switch kernel operating system

Fabric OS: Version of switch Fabric OS

Made on: Build date of firmware running in switch

Flash: Build date of firmware stored in flash proms

BootProm: Build date of firmware stored in boot prom

Usually the Made on and Flash dates are the same, since the switch starts running flash

firmware at power-on. However, in the time period between firmwareDownload and the next

reboot, the dates can differ.

Operands None.

Example To display firmware version information:
