2. In the Password box, type administrator or the current administrator
password.
3. Click OK to log in; click Erase to clear all entries and return to step 1.
When login is complete, the OSM Home Page displays.
Establishing Account Passwords
Initially, each default account name is the same as its the default password. To control
access, these default passwords must be changed. While logged on as the
administrator, set new passwords for the default accounts (administrator, operator, and
user). The administrator can change these passwords at any time.
IMPORTANT: For security, HP recommends changing the password for all default accounts
immediately upon browsing to the Management Appliance for the first time.
To change an account name password, complete the following procedure:
1. Log in as the administrator (see the “Logging In as Administrator” section on
page 7–4).
The OSM Home Page displays.
2. Click the browser Back drop-down and choose Compaq WEB Login.
The OSM Account Login Page displays.
3. Click Refresh/Reload.
The “anonymous” login account name is replaced with “administrator.”
