EVM Logs
EVM logs are the primary source of diagnostic and troubleshooting information. The
EVM Log Reporting page in the EVM GUI provides access to all the log files that are
stored on the Management Appliance (EVM server).
The EVM Log Reporting page provides access to four basic types of logs:
EVM Server Logs
EVM Job Logs
EVM Switchboard Logs
Host Agent Configuration Logs
Each log type is discussed below.
EVM host agent logs are stored in the following directories for each host operating
system:
HP Tru64 UNIX: \usr\opt\CPQevm\bin\logs
HP-UX: \opt\CPQevm\bin\logs
IBM AIX: \usr\opt\CPQevm\bin\logs
Sun Solaris: \opt\CPQevm\bin\logs
Windows: ..\Enterprise Volume Manager\bin\logs
